Next time the trip goes to London
As the big ‘tea nerd’ I am, I would love to visit all the below mentioned places.
I’ve been to London a number of times and seen all the major tourist attractions so they will not appear on my little list.
On the other hand, there will naturally be a lot of focus on tea experiences ♥ Use this list as an inspiration to your own London trip. It is constantly expanding.
My London list:
Fortnum & Mason department store, because they make their own tea. In addition are tea suppliers to the British Royal Family. It’s not at all because I’m in love with the monarchy, but I think that being a tea supplier to Queen Elizabeth makes a quality stamp to the Fortnum & Mason’s tea. At the same time it’s a little funny if you can find out which tea (the snobbish) Queen Elizabeth drinks. Don’t you think? 😉

The Tea Pub, who makes tea tasting menus and drinks with tea. The tea tasting menu gives you five teas, and you can’t choose them, which I believe to be a bonus. Their special cocktail, the one called ‘Earl Gray & Tonic’, I just have to taste, first and foremost because I love Earl Gray, but also because this particular combination sounds completely irresistible.

London Bridge Experience once again. This time I will choose the London Tombs, which gives the best frightening experience. At least it has been voted London’s most scary attraction (I love thrill). Last time we were there, we did chose the family edition, which was scary enough, but more requires more 🙂 Know what I mean?

Vegan Afternoon Tea at Hotel The Egerton House in Knightsbridge, located south of Hyde Park. The hotel is decorated in an elegant and elegant style with a focus on the Victorian look. Just something for me and the gentleman. This place is recently commended at the Afternoon Tea Awards 2017. Bring your kids, as they also serve a Teddy Bear’s picnic.

The Poetry Café in Covent Garden, where you can hear poetry readings on selected evenings. I will never forget a similar evening in Aarhus, Denmark at the ‘Gyngen’. It was so fun and cozy. Poetry Café serves a good cup of tea, wine, beer and other beverages, vegetarian soup plus fruit and cake.

Bromptom Cemetery, because it is one of Britain’s oldest and most interesting cemeteries, I think. The historical monuments combined with trees and wildlife merged with histories of remarkable people buried here. The cemetery is located in Kensington, London near Earls Court Tube Station.
